Samsung is rolling out the Android 12 update for the Galaxy M11!

Last updated: July 1st, 2022 at 17:54 UTC+02:00

Most Samsung phones eligible for Android 12 have already received the update, and the Galaxy M11 is now catching up with the rest of the pack.

Great news for Galaxy M11 customers, indeed! Android 12 is now live along with One UI 4 in Vietnam, and the update happens to include the June 2022 security patch. The new software can be identified by firmware version M115FXXU3CVF6.

Obviously, One UI 4.1 is the highlight of the update. It's been more than a year since Android 11 and One UI 3.1 landed on the Galaxy M11, and the newer version of One UI refreshes the user interface and makes everything look more modern and easier to reach.

Every Samsung app got a refreshed UI with Android 12, and new customization options should also be available through Material You color swatches.

The official changelog tracker has yet to be updated, so we're not exactly sure what parts of One UI 4 have been omitted for the Galaxy M11 update. Either way, customers in eligible markets should be able to download the update via the Settings app by accessing “Software update” and tapping “Download and install.”

As always, SamMobile readers can choose to download official firmware files from our website and manually install the latest updates using Samsung tools for PC.

This is the last major Android OS and One UI update for the Galaxy M11. Hopefully, it will breathe more life into this low-cost two-year-old device.
