Samsung SAIT to scout for talent in science and technology

SAIT (Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology) will hold the ‘Samsung Artificial Intelligence/Computer Engineering Challenge 2023' event to discover talents in science and technology and strengthen its research department. This challenge or event will be for undergraduates and graduates at domestic universities.

The Samsung AI/CE Challenge 2023 will be hosted from August 21 to October 20 and is aimed at discovering talents that will help scale up the research department and build next-gen technology leaders. Samsung AI/CE Challenge 2023 will celebrate its third year in 2023. Students who wish to participate in the Samsung AI/CE Challenge 2023 can apply starting August 21. The AI challenge will be held until October 2, while the CE challenge will be held until October 20.

The Samsung AI/CE Challenge 2023 results will be announced at the end of October through the Samsung Electronics SAIT website. A total of 16 teams will compete for a grand prize in each contest category. The number 1 team in each category will be awarded KRW 10 million, the second prize will be KRW 5 million, and the two encouragement teams will be awarded KRW 3 million each.

The award ceremony will be held at the ‘Samsung AI Forum' on November 7. The upcoming Samsung AI/CE Challenge 2023 tasks include image recognition technology for autonomous driving using AI technology, machine learning algorithm for semiconductor material simulation, simultaneous generation technology for quantitative and qualitative evaluation of camera image quality, and large-scale language in the CE field.
