Samsung began rolling out the August 2023 security patch a week ago, but up until now, the update's been a bit of a mystery. The Korean tech giant doesn't immediately publish new patch changelogs for security reasons. It usually waits a few days or weeks for Galaxy devices to pick up the update before sharing more details. But now, the August 2023 changelog is in.
Samsung has published its August 2023 security bulletin. This month's release fixes 2 “Critical” security issues, 50 security flaws rated “High,” 1 “Moderate” CVE, and ships with 5 security fixes that were also included in previous monthly patches.
In addition, the August 2023 security patch addresses 19 SVEs (Samsung Vulnerability Items).
