The Swiss Life Arena is now the most modern ice hockey arena in Switzerland, thanks to Samsung‘s largest indoor LED display cube in all of Europe. The Swiss Life Arena not only gets the new display but also gets modernized and revamped hardware and software, along with technical support.
Samsung's innovative technology made it possible for the Swiss Life Arena to meet the National Hockey League (NHL) standards, a level typically only achieved by North American arenas. Also, the arena gets a wide range of signage products (669 square meters, to be specific) from Samsung that will enhance the customer experience and ramp up operational efficiency.
Ice Hockey fans will be able to experience immersive action thanks to Samsung's advanced display technology. The central LED Cube display measures 12x12x8 meters, offering excellent viewing for fans no matter where they are seated in the arena's 12,000 seats. The LED Cube also comes with ambient lighting and sound effects to set the mood of the fans present in the arena.
The complete display solution provided by Samsung also enhances the players club and provides a connected customer experience to the business club, sports club, and press room. The South Korean firm has also set up Q-series signage across the sports bar and around the concourse that offers excellent 4K content.
Moreover, the content management across all signage will be handled by Samsung's powerful MagicINFO 9 system. It is a cloud-based solution that will help manage the content, devices, and data across the displays throughout the Swiss Life Arena. MagicINFO 9 will also ensure that these displays are up to date in terms of match details, advertising, or important customer information.
Samsung has been steadily expanding its visual display milestones; most recently, it provided display technology to Citi Field and SoFi Stadium. Now, the Swiss Life Arena gets to enjoy the latest innovations from Samsung.
