Samsung has started showcasing the brilliance of its 8K Neo QLED TVs in South Korea through nature-related artwork and NFTs. The company said it is holding the Neo QLED 8K Big Picture in FOR:REST event across its home country from July 4 to August 31.
The company will showcase artwork from famous artists worldwide at 70 Samsung Digital Plaza stores. Samsung had set up a similar showcase at COEX 2022 in April. A total of 15 artists, including experimental artist Han Ho, Keun Joong Kim of ‘Natural Being' fame, Yoo-Jin, who conveys a message of peace and love, and Lim Chae-wook, who uniquely showcases Korean mountains, will showcase a total of 18 artworks.
Thanks to Mini-LED technology, Samsung's 8K Neo QLED TVs offer incredibly high resolution, superb contrast, 100% color volume, and high brightness. And that's great for showcasing artworks and NFTs.
Those who visit one of these 70 Samsung Digital Plaza stores in South Korea and purchase an 8K Neo QLED TV will get access to a 24-month subscription to TVING. Samsung is also holding a pop-up exhibition at Cafe Marley in Seongsu-dong from July 4 to July 16.
Taesik Yoon, Senior Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, “Thanks to the enthusiastic support for the exhibition held at COEX in April, we will hold the exhibition once again at Samsung Digital Plaza nationwide, where customers can easily visit us closer. Neo QLED We hope that you can enjoy an emotional and artistic experience that goes beyond the original picture through 8K.”
