Among the biggest expected upgrades for the upcoming Galaxy S25 is an overhaul of the Bixby virtual assistant. We've seen glimpses of the upgraded Bixby on the limited Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. Now, Samsung is gearing up to bring the latest AI-based advancements to more Bixby users through the Galaxy S25 series.

Samsung has just published a new short teaser video to hype up the Galaxy S25's deeper integration with the Bixby assistant. Titled “A true AI companion is coming,” the 17-second ad offers a preview of the newfound power of Bixby.

In the video, we see an office employee leveraging the power of new Bixby to find a pet-friendly Italian restaurant with outdoor seating, send that information to another person, and put the meeting in the Calendar app — all in one sentence. Check it out below.

This kind of interaction with Bixby will be possible thanks to new AI-based advancements that make the virtual assistant more capable at natural language processing (NLP).

Exactly how well it will work in practice remains to be seen. Samsung will showcase the Galaxy S25 series and the upgraded Bixby assistant on January 22 at Galaxy Unpacked.

Reservations for the upcoming flagship series are open. Hit the button below for more info. Samsung offers exclusive bonuses to early adopters. There's also a grand prize of $5,000 in Samsung credit, which everyone who makes a reservation has a chance to win, regardless of whether they buy the Galaxy S25 or not.
