In a new video, Samsung has showcased the features of its newly launched Smart Monitor M8. The video is titled “Smart Monitor: Watch, play, live in style” and gives you a glimpse of all of its exciting features.
The video highlights the interesting blend of a two-in-one device, which not only acts like a computer monitor but also doubles up as a smart 4K TV. This enables you to watch your favorite content from various OTT services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV, thanks to the in-built Wi-Fi.
To take your content consumption to the next level, the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 features HDR 10+ support and also supports both Alexa and Google Assistant. Bixby is supported, as well.
The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 can also run Microsoft 365 apps natively
For working professionals, the Smart Monitor M8 is pretty damn smart. It can run Microsoft 365 apps natively. This means you have access to work-related tools such as Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive, without needing to connect it to a computer.
There is also a detachable and magnetic SlimFit cam that can help you carry out your meetings with ease. The SlimFit cam supports features such as Face Tracking and Auto Zoom functions.

The monitor also supports video chat apps such as Google Duo. Moreover, the Smart Monitor M8 can also be connected to the SmartThings Hub to control all connected IoT devices. With multiple other features, including far-fetch voice, eye saver mode, flicker-free, etc., the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is a fitting competitor to Apple's latest iMac.
