Samsung has announced that it has partnered with JioCinema (owned by Reliance) to pre-install the JioCinema video streaming app on all its recent smart TVs sold in India. The JioCinema app is the exclusive online streaming option for the IPL for five years, starting from 2023. So, Samsung smart TV users can easily watch IPL cricket matches in the future.
Apart from streaming IPL cricket matches, JioCinema offers modern features for sports fans, including up to 4K resolution, multiple live camera views, scorecards, and various sports metrics. The JioCinema app will come pre-installed on all Samsung smart TVs and Smart Monitors running Tizen and released in 2018 or later.
