On Saturday, Samsung stopped rolling out the stable version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to the devices the brand was offering it and pulled the update from its servers. While we learned why the company might have done so and that it is going to resume rolling it out today, Samsung hadn’t said anything about the whole fiasco. Well, that’s finally changing.

In Korea, Samsung has sent a notification in the Samsung Members app notifying users that it has temporarily suspended the One UI 7 rollout. The brand says that it has taken this step “due to some issues requiring maintenance.” Samsung further adds that once it completes the inspection, it will resume the rollout. It also apologises to users for the inconvenience.

According to a popular tipster, Samsung halted rolling out the update because it found that after installing the new software, some people were not able to unlock their phones, which was a critical issue.

Fortunately, the tipster claims that Samsung has solved the problem and will resume rolling out today. With a few hours for the day to end, we are eagerly waiting for the tech giant to resume the rollout.
