The best Android smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, is soon going to get even better. Notably, Verizon updated its Galaxy Watch 4 support page and listed a new system update that brings Google Assistant integration to the smartwatch. The page, however, has been removed, and Google also confirmed that the feature wasn't rolling out then.
While you can still use your Wear OS 3-powered Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with your voice using Samsung's own Bixby, the advantage of Google Assistant is known to everyone. In fact, users were also waiting for the arrival of Google Assistant support for quite some time.
Although there is no time frame on when the feature will land on the Galaxy Watch 4, it has already taken the spotlight in a Galaxy Watch 4 ad posted on Samsung's Spanish YouTube channel.
The ad shows a man asking his Galaxy Watch 4 to play music on YouTube Music using the Google Assistant trigger word “Hey Google”. The Google Assistant feature took 3-seconds of the ad, but it hints that the feature is going to arrive sometime soon.
