Samsung TV Plus is getting a new legendary TV channel next month, as the company has just announced a partnership with Conan O'Brien. Thanks to this collaboration, the Emmy Award-winning show “CONAN” is coming to Samsung's FAST (free ad-supported TV) platform in the USA in June.
The Conan O'Brien TV channel on Samsung TV Plus will deliver 24/7 programming and curated 30-minute compilations of clips from Conan's late-night archives. This is the first time Conan O'Brien enters a FAST network, and Samsung says the new channel has 100 hours of programming lined up for the launch, with more to follow.
Sketch comedy and celebrity guests galore
Samsung also revealed that TV Plus users will be able to enjoy clips featuring Conan's most popular interviews with celebrities such as John Hamm, Ryan Reynolds, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, Lisa Kudrow, Gal Godot, Kate McKinnon, Martin Short, Martha Stewart, Jack McBrayer, Mindy Kaling, Jack Black, Justin Bieber, and others.
TV Plus, available for free on Samsung smart TVs and Galaxy phones, boasts more than 250 live channels in the USA, along with thousands of movies and shows on demand. And starting next month, Samsung TV Plus will be the only ad-free supported TV service exclusively broadcasting the first dedicated Conan O'Brien FAST channel.
The tech company says: “We are in a golden era of content creation” and vouched to stay “at the cutting edge of the premium programming.”
