Samsung TV Plus is expanding its content library in the USA. The ad-supported TV and video-on-demand streaming service is getting new shows from leading unscripted programming producer and distributor Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG).
Samsung has partnered with HMPG before, and the TV Plus platform already offers Hearst Media content in the USA, such as Xplore, Rovr Pets, and The Jack Hanna Channel.
Now, thanks to an extended partnership, the Samsung TV Plus platform will offer more than 500 additional hours of HMPG programming for users in the USA.
The list of new content includes Matter of Fact with Soledad O'Brien, Lucky Dog, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild, Harlem Globetrotters: Play It Forward, and more Jack Hanna.

HMPG senior VP said, “Samsung TV Plus is an ideal partner to advance our viewership footprint.” The company offers more than 4,000 worth of programming globally.
As for Samsung TV Plus, the recent announcement also says the platform is available on smart TVs and Smart Monitor, on the web, and Family Hub refrigerators and reaches more than 560 million users worldwide. Where available in 24 countries, Samsung TV Plus offers more than 2,500 ad-supported linear channels.
