Samsung has announced that its free TV service now offers even more content for users in Canada and the US. Samsung TV Plus offers over 100 channels across various genres such as business, entertainment, sports, and more. The free linear TV service is available on Samsung's smart TVs in select regions. The service also lets users pick up where they left off, similar to Netflix.
Samsung TV Plus is also getting more movies through Samsung's own The Movie Hub channel. In the US, the company is offering content from beIN SPORTS EXTRA, Bon Appétit, CBS News, Crime 360, fubo Sports Network, Fuse, Kitchen Nightmares, Lively Place, Outside TV+, Reelz, Tastemade, The Design Network, VEVO, Yahoo Finance, and many more.
Samsung's TV service is completely free, so users don't need to install any app or pay for anything on their brand new smart TV. They just need a working internet connection that's fast enough to stream videos without buffering. Samsung TV Plus is available on all 2019 smart TVs from the company. TVs released in 2017 and later would also get the video streaming service in the US later this year.
All smart TVs from Samsung released in 2020 in Canada and the US come with remote controllers that have a dedicated button to access Samsung TV Plus.
