There's no end in sight for Samsung improving its TV Plus platform and today the company announced the addition of ABC News Live to Samsung TV Plus in the USA. As a result, Samsung TV Plus users now have free instant access to ABC News Live's full roster of 10 news channels on top of the existing 150+ channels offered by various other content providers.

ABC News Live is a 24/7 streaming news channel that covers live events and delivers in-depth reporting from around the world. Popular shows include ABC News Live Update with Diane Macedo, ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis, and Your Voice Your Vote: The Breakdown with Macedo and Terry Moran.

Two dozen million ABC News Live viewers can enjoy content on Samsung TV Plus

This recent development means that Samsung is virtually welcoming around 23 million monthly viewers of ABC News Live to its TV Plus platform. We see this as an opportunity to deliver the most important issues of the day to Samsung’s highly engaged customers across a multitude of devices, said Kaizar Campwala, VP of Business Operations and Insights, Digital Media and Entertainment Distribution.

Samsung TV Plus is one of the main features that sets Samsung's smart TV range apart from the competition. It's a free service that offers access to countless channels across different categories, from documentaries to news and entertainment. Samsung TV Plus is available for free on the company's smart TVs as long as they were released in 2016 or later. Following a recent update, the platform is also available on the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Note 20 series of devices.
