Samsung TV Plus is one of the many reasons Samsung smart TVs are beating the competition to a pulp. The TV Plus platform continues to grow in popularity at an incredible rate, and in Q4, it recorded more than a 50% increase in viewership year-on-year.
The Korean tech giant announced today that Samsung TV Plus has reached an active monthly viewer base of 88 million globally. With more than 3,000 free, ad-supported (FAST) channels and tens of thousands of on-demand content options, TV Plus has become one of the most popular apps among Samsung TV users globally.
In fact, according to Samsung, TV Plus is the number one most-used app on Samsung TVs in the United States.
Samsung claims that the TV Plus platform's expansion in the USA is fueled by Gen Z, Millenial, and Gen X audiences, who over-index in the key advertising 18-49 demographic.
To celebrate these achievements, Samsung says it will continue bringing the TV Plus platform to more markets. Following the recent release of TV Plus in the Philippines and Singapore, Samsung will launch TV Plus in Thailand.
