Samsung has unveiled the latest version of its Odyssey G6 gaming monitor at the Gamescom 2026 expo, which runs from August 26 to 30 in Cologne, Germany. It is the world's first gaming monitor that can reach a whopping 1,100Hz refresh rate at HD resolution. At its native QHD resolution, it can hit up to 600Hz.

The newest Odyssey G6 (model number G60H) features a 27-inch Fast IPS LCD panel with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), a 1ms response time, and HDR support. It also features AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.

The monitor supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ formats for high dynamic range visuals and includes DisplayPort and HDMI connectivity.

The Odyssey G6 will be available globally in the second half of 2026. Samsung has not announced official pricing yet, but details should arrive closer to launch. The company also unveiled three new OLED gaming monitors, which you can read all about here.
