Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy XCover 7. It brings the August 2026 security patch, which fixes 56 security issues, making the phone more secure than before.

Currently, the brand seems to be rolling it out in a few countries in Asia, including Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The update carries firmware version G556BXXSIEZH2 (via Mohammed Khatri).

Samsung should release the update in other regions over the next few days. To check its availability and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Speaking of updates for the Galaxy XCover 7, the phone is eligible to get the brand’s latest custom Android interface, One UI 9.0 (Android 17), as well as One UI 9.5.
