Samsung has launched a new YouTube video series from its SmartThings Home, located at its headquarters in the UK. The series, called 9 Minute Mentors, aims to teach the next generation of entrepreneurs about the value of time.
Samsung UK & Ireland announced the new video series today. It's a three-part series, and the first episode is now live on the company's YouTube channel.
A 9-minute show about how to not waste 9 minutes
The show features three successful small business entrepreneurs, i.e., David Abrahamovich of London coffee business Grind; Freddie Harrel, who runs premium synthetic hair extension brand RadSwan; and Freddie Garland, who runs subscription-based flower company Freddie's Flowers.
The show's premise is that people lose nine minutes every business meeting due to technical issues. Samsung's goal is to provide guidance and advice to small business owners to avoid these time losses.
Story continues after the video
The first episode in the 9 Minute Mentors series is hosted by Samsung UK and Ireland's Annika Bizon. Annika speaks with the founder of Grind about the brand's evolution and success story so far, as well as David Abrahamovich's expensive failures, which ultimately helped the business to greater consistency.
The show offers an opportunity for up-and-coming entrepreneurs to learn from the experiences of other business owners and, potentially, avoid some of the pitfalls they've faced.
