Since Samsung Display launched QD-OLED display panels for monitors, many PC brands have used those for their high-end gaming monitors, including Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and Philips. Now, another company is jumping on that bandwagon, AOC. It has launched a new gaming monitor that uses Samsung’s QD-OLED display panel, the AGON Pro AG276QZD2.

The AG276QZD2 is an advanced variant of the AG276QZD, which uses LG Display’s WOLED display panel. The new model features a Samsung Display’s third-generation 26.5-inch QD-OLED display panel with a 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.03ms response time, a 99.1% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, deltaE<2, and 250 cd/m2 brightness. The monitor also comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.

Connectivity options on the AG276QZD2 include 1x DisplayPort 1.4 port with HBR3, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. You also get 2x 5W speakers, The stand that comes with the monitor offers height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustment. AOC has priced it at USD 599.99 and it is currently available to purchase from Microcenter.

If you are planning to buy a monitor with a QD-OLED display panel, you should definitely check out Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G6. While it is costlier than the one from AOC, it also offers better specifications, including a 360Hz refresh rate, and more features, including support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and a more advanced cooling system.
