When Samsung first started accepting trade-ins for the Galaxy Ring two weeks ago, it offered a flat $100 discount to customers who had smart rings or smartwatches to exchange.
Now, for a late Black Friday deal, Samsung has revised its trade-in prices for Galax Ring buyers in a way that helps smartwatch users.
Instead of offering $100 for just about any smart ring, Samsung has revised its trade-in Galaxy Ring discounts as follows.
- $80 off the Galaxy Ring when trading-in the Amazfit Helio.
- $50 off the Galaxy Ring when exchanging the Evie Ring.
- $50 – $100 off the Galaxy Ring when trading-in the various Oura Horizon or Heritage models.
- $50 off the Galaxy Ring when trading the RingConn Smart Ring.
- $100 off the Galaxy Ring when trading-in the Ultrahuman Ring Air.
Although the trade-in offers for smart ring users are not as good as they used to be, Galaxy Ring buyers who want to exchange a smartwatch for a better deal are in for a treat, as Samsung now offers discounts of up to $200.
- $200 off the Galaxy Ring when you exchange the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Watch 6, or Watch 6 Classic.
- $150 off the Galaxy Ring when trading-in any other Galaxy Watch, the Gear Fit2, or the Gear S3.
- $150 off the Galaxy Ring when exchanging Apple Watches.
- $150 off the Galaxy Ring when trading-in the Garmin Forerunner 165, Forerunner 265, or Forerunner 965.
- $50 off the Galaxy Ring for “Any smartwatch, any condition.”
If you can take advantage of these new $200 trade-in discounts, you can buy the Galaxy Ring at half the price, i.e., $199. The Galaxy Ring has never been cheaper, so if you were waiting for a chance to grab one for someone close or yourself, this might be it.
