Fancy one of Samsung's newest smartwatches? The Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro were both unveiled today at the company's Unpacked event. Pre-orders are now open which means Samsung will gladly sell you one of these now.
Customers in major markets across the globe can now pre-order Samsung's latest smartwatches. The company has notified August 26 as the official release date.
Samsung credit on offer for pre-order customers
Prices for the Galaxy Watch 5, available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, start at $279. If you don't want to pay full price then there's a way you can save a bit of money. Don't wait for discounts, though, it will take some time before we see price cuts on Samsung's latest devices.
There are incredible Samsung pre-order offers on these new products. For starters, you can get a $50 Samsung credit just for pre-ordering a Galaxy Watch 5 or Watch 5 Pro. You can use this credit to purchase anything on the company's online store.
Samsung is also offering up to $125 in trade-in credit if you want to exchange your old smartwatch. All pre-order customers also receive a free Duo Charging Pad. There's also a way to save up to $300, but that requires you to purchase one of its new foldable smartphones.
You can get up to $300 in Samsung credit when you buy a Galaxy Watch 5 or Watch 5 Pro with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. A $200 credit is on offer if a similar bundle purchase is made with the Galaxy Z Flip 4. This is a great way to rack up some extra savings, particularly if you were going to buy one of these new phones anyway.
All of the devices that Samsung unveiled at its Unpacked event today will be released on August 26.
