Samsung dropped the September 2021 security patch onto the Galaxy A51 last week, and now the company is bringing a similar firmware update to the international 5G-enabled model.
The September 2021 security patch is now available for the Galaxy A51 5G in dozens of markets and across different carriers. They're too many to be listed here, but as always, you can refer to our firmware database, where you can not only check if your phone runs the latest firmware version but also download new updates that you can then install manually on your phone.
For the most part, it looks like the latest update is rolling out for the Galaxy A51 5G in European countries. Other markets shouldn't be far behind, so keep an eye on your notifications. You can also attempt to trigger the update process from the Settings app on your phone by accessing Software update.
As for the new firmware, it can be identified by version A516BXXU5CU3. The September security patch was detailed by Samsung a little over a month ago, but the latest firmware number indicates that the update could contain more than just improved security. Features pulled from One UI 3.1.1 — such as the Bedtime mode toggle — could be included in the new update.
