Samsung has released two beta versions of One UI 7.0 and is expected to release the third beta update sometime next week. But when will the company start rolling out the stable One UI 7.0 update? We now have some information about it.
Stable One UI 7.0 update release schedule announcement to happen in January 2025
The release schedule for the stable One UI 7.0 update could be announced at the next Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event. This information comes from X user @FamilyTaes, who leaked the One UI 7.0 Beta Program roadmap. So, there is some reason to believe their claim.
According to a leaked teaser, the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event is set to happen on January 22, 2025. Samsung will likely unveil the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra during the Galaxy Unpacked event, and they could be the first phones to run One UI 7.0 out of the box.
After the third One UI 7.0 beta update release next week, Samsung could release only 2-3 more beta versions before rolling out the stable update. We wouldn't be surprised if all high-end and most mid-range devices get the stable update before the end of Q3 2025.

Most Galaxy A and all Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series phones received the stable One UI 6.0 update before the end of 2023. Compared to One UI 6.0, Samsung has been more than three months late in rolling out the One UI 7.0 beta update.
Hopefully, Samsung won't be this late with the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update next year. Google plans to release the stable Android 16 update in mid-2025, three months ahead of its regular schedule.
