Samsung officially announces One UI 7 rollout date!

Samsung has announced that it will start rolling out the Android 15-based stable One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy S24 from April 7, 2025.

After months of delay, Samsung has finally announced when it plans to release the stable One UI 7.0 update to existing phones like the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The rollout will start in the first week of April 2025 and continue in the following weeks.

Official One UI 7.0 update rollout to start in early April

Samsung has announced through a blog post that it will start rolling out the Android 15-based stable One UI 7.0 update to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 starting on April 7, 2025.

The update will then be released to the Galaxy devices in the following weeks. Those other phones and tablets include the following:

  • Galaxy S23
  • Galaxy S23+
  • Galaxy S23 Ultra
  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5
  • Galaxy Tab S9
  • Galaxy Tab S9+
  • Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
  • Galaxy Tab S10+
  • Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

Most of the devices above have already received the One UI 7.0 beta update in select countries where the One UI 7.0 Beta Program was launched, while others could get it in the next few days.

Samsung says that One UI 7.0's user interface has been built from the ground up for AI, offering a more natural approach than earlier. According to the company, its new interface has a “simple, impactful and emotive design.” It brings a simplified home screen, smoother animations and transitions, redesigned widgets for the home screen and the lock screen, and Now Bar.

It also brings new and improved Galaxy AI features, including AI Select, Audio Eraser, Drawing Assist, Writing Assist, and a natural language-based search engine in the Settings app. You can find all those new features and UI design elements in our in-depth video below.
