The first Samsung phones to run One UI 9.0 out of the box.

Samsung released the first One UI 9.0 beta about two months ago. The beta program has been limited to the Galaxy S26 series for now, even though signs have emerged that the company is testing the firmware for other compatible devices.
There won't be any wait for the stable version for those who buy the company's newest foldable phones unveiled today as they come with the stable One UI 9 firmware out of the box.
All three new foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 come with the latest firmware pre-installed.
Samsung has already outlined many of the changes in the full One UI 9.0 changelog it posted when the first beta was released. The improvements include more customization options for the Quick Panel, enhancements for Samsung DeX, additional Game Booster settings, and more.
One UI 9.0 also has a new AI Assistant Activity dashboard. It provides users with a centralized view of AI capabilities being utilized to make their lives easier. This eliminates the need to move between different apps and services to understand what actions AI has taken.
The dashboard lists all of them in one place, while also allowing users to navigate directly to the relevant AI agent for more context and settings.
Samsung should soon start rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update to the Galaxy S26 series and other compatible devices in the near future, likely once the new foldable phones have hit the market on August 7.
