We didn't think we'd say this today amid the Galaxy A launch event, but the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 firmware update is rolling out now for the Galaxy S21 series in several markets.
Galaxy S21 series customers in Nordic countries, Germany, and France are now receiving the One UI 4.1 update OTA. Eligible Galaxy S21 owners can identify the firmware by version G99xBXXU4CVC4. And, of course, the update features the March 2022 security patch.

The update is rolling out over the air (OTA), meaning it should be accompanied by an update notification. Tap it once it arrives, and you'll be enjoying One UI 4.1 on your Galaxy S21 in no time. You can also try triggering the update by opening the “Settings” app on your phone, tapping “About phone,” followed by “Software update.”
Alternatively, you can skip the wait and head over to the firmware section on our website to download the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 firmware updates manually. Just make sure you download the right firmware for your device and region.
As for what the new update brings, you can check our hands-on video below for a One UI 4.1 preview. Once you update your Galaxy S21, you should be able to find new camera features brought over from the newer Galaxy S22 series, additional ways to personalize your phone, and more.
