Samsung customers in Mexico seem to be huge fans of either The Frame TV or Disney – or both. In a press release sent out this week, Samsung confirmed that The Frame Disney100 Edition broke sale records in Mexico and completely sold out after its recent debut.
The Frame Disney100 Edition went live in Mexico in the first week of December. It was available in two sizes, 65 and 75 inches, and early buyers benefited from special discounts.
Furthermore, the first five customers who bought the Disney100 Edition via the Shop Samsung app received a standard 32-inch The Frame and a HW-S61B soundbar free of charge.
These incentives and the extra Disney-themed goodies seem to have helped The Frame gain a lot of love from customers in Mexico.
No word on when or if it will be back in stock
The Frame Disney100 Edition is a limited-run TV, and although it's not extremely rare, Samsung will eventually stop producing it. As of this writing, the Disney100 Edition is out of stock in Mexico, and whether or not it will be back in stock anytime soon – or at all – is unknown. Samsung hasn't mentioned anything more than the limited edition selling like hotcakes.
Disney100 buyers everywhere get a platinum silver bezel with the Disney100 logo engraved, a black and white Mickey Mouse color scheme for the SolarCell Remote, 100 Disney artworks from the Art Store, and even a special treatment for the Tizen operating system, which features the Disney100 boot-up logo.
At the moment, the Frame Disney100 Edition remains available for purchase in select markets. Hit the “Buy” button below to find out if it is available in your region.
