Samsung has launched a limited-edition The Frame TV to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary. It's called The Frame-Disney100 Edition, and it is available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch sizes. The TV has a sleek Disney-branded bezel, 100 special art pieces from Disney, and a Mickey Mouse-inspired TV remote controller.
The South Korean firm said that its limited-edition TV will delight Disney fans around the world. The TV is meant to display the combination of Samsung's technology and Disney's creativity. When users turn on The Frame-Disney100 Edition, they will be greeted with the Samsung x Disney100 logo. Its bezel uses Disney's signature color: Platinum Silver Metal.
From the Samsung Art Store, users can get up to 100 digital art pieces from Disney. Those art pieces include characters from Lucasfilm, Marvel, National Geographic, Pixar Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. Disney fans can showcase their favorite Disney characters on The Frame, which looks like a painting.
All the other features of the TV remain similar to the regular The Frame model, including its 4K QLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. It runs Tizen and has access to all the famous audio and video streaming services, Bixby, Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Health, SmartThings, and more.
Cheolgi Kim, Executive VP of Samsung Electronics' TV arm, said, “We are thrilled to offer this one-of-a-kind edition of The Frame to celebrate Disney’s landmark 100th anniversary. These collaborations serve as an exciting way to spotlight The Frame’s distinct features, which revolutionized how we use our screens and consume content. We hope this unique edition of The Frame allows more people to experience the wonderful viewing experience the TV has to offer.“
