While Galaxy S23 owners are preparing for the first stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta update, Samsung is still in the midst of fixing serious bugs in One UI 6.0 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The Z Fold 5 received its third One UI 6.0 beta update on Thursday, and that update is now available in more countries where Samsung is running the Z Fold 5 beta program.
Galaxy Z Fold 5 users on the Android 14 beta firmware in India can now download the latest build, and those in Germany, the UK, and Poland should be able to do so as well. As always, you can grab the latest update from your phone's Settings » Software update menu, and as always, you should make sure you back up any important data before proceeding with installation, especially if you're using the beta on your daily driver.
The third update — build number ZWJ8 — brings fixes for some issues that also plagued the Galaxy S23 series earlier and improves overall software stability. It also has some bugs that Samsung is aware of but hasn't fixed yet, including one that makes it impossible to run some games, like Pokemon UNITE. Samsung also says that you may face random crashes of the user interface, the home screen, and the Camera app.
