Samsung's “Over the Horizon“ ringtone is often being reimagined to reflect the idea of change, new beginnings, and the release of a new generation of smartphones. And, of course, everyone likes a new ringtone now and again, so it's become a tradition for Samsung to reinterpret Over the Horizon on a yearly basis. And now, the company's iconic ringtone for 2022 appears to have leaked.
You can listen to the new Over the Horizon 2022 ringtone through this Google Drive link (via @materialit_kr). According to the source, this is Samsung's latest audio logo, if you will, so that means it should debut with the Galaxy S22 flagship series in February.
The composer is unknown at this point, but it wouldn't surprise us if there's a richer story behind this song. Samsung's Over the Horizon 2021 ringtone was produced by SUGA from BTS, and it has garnered millions of fans worldwide.
Over the Horizon 2022 has a different, jazzy, funky, trip-hoppy tone. It's not orchestral like the 2021 ringtone, which, again, falls in line with the whole idea of change and new beginnings. It's a fresh beat for a new line of Samsung products. However, keep in mind that the quality of this audio file may be low, and there's no way of telling if this is the final mix. Either way, check out the sound and let us know your opinion in the comment section below.
