TikTok is all the rage these days and if like most people you find yourself scrolling on the short-form video app throughout the day, you'll particularly like the new improvements that it has introduced for devices with larger displays.

Your Samsung foldable phone, like the Galaxy Z Fold 5, qualifies as a device with a larger display and so do many of Samsung's incredible Android tablets. By improving the viewing experience on these devices, TikTok is certainly doing all of those users a big favor.

TikTok works better on your large display Samsung devices

The updated TikTok app brings an enhanced video feed on devices like foldable phones and tablets. Previously the videos could feel a bit pixelated on larger displays. Since TikTok is all about video, this is certainly a major improvement in the user experience.

Navigation bars have also been streamlined so that users can easily move through the app with the bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Any upgrade that reduces the need to perform finger gymnastics on a larger display device is a welcome improvement.

Lastly, the TikTok app now has support for landscape and portrait more. Regardless of how you prefer to hold your Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, the app is going to work perfectly in both. Since we tend to use larger devices in landscape more frequently, it's great to see that the app won't suffer from any usability issues.
