Samsung is bringing Android 13 to Galaxy A32 5G users in the United States. The One UI 5.0 update landed on the international variant in December, but Samsung is now expanding availability to include the Galaxy A32 5G on carrier networks in the USA.
Although Samsung is already rolling out the January 2023 security patch for a few other phones, the latest Galaxy A32 5G firmware is being seeded along with a relatively older security patch, i.e., November 2022. But Galaxy A32 5G users in the USA will probably not mind, as the meat of the update is One UI 5.0.
With Android 13 and the included One UI 5.0 update, the Galaxy A32 5G (SM-A326U) gets a refined user experience, more lock screen customization options, a redesigned Settings menu with sensible changes such as the new “Connected devices” section, a new “Background apps” option in the Recents screen, and more. If the One UI 5.0 experience on higher-end Galaxy phones is anything to go by, the latest Android 13 update should also provide a slight performance boost.
The update has firmware version A326USQU8CVK5. It's not yet available for unlocked Galaxy A32 5G variants, and time will tell if it will lag behind carrier models or catch up sooner rather than later. Carrier Galaxy A32 5G users in the USA should receive an update notification at any moment, or they can try triggering the update manually by opening the Settings app, accessing “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.” Users who prefer manual updates can download the official firmware files from our website.
