Galaxy A50 owners in the USA are in for a treat, as long as they own the model sold by Verizon, as the carrier appears to have fired up the anticipated Android 10 update rollout. According to the changelog shared by a Reddit user, the update intros the newer OS version along with an update user experience, i.e., One UI 2.
Since the Galaxy A50 shipped with Android 9 and One UI 1.1, the new update released by Verizon consists of numerous big changes to the user experience. The UI has been refreshed with text color that changes dynamically according to your lock screen/home screen wallpaper, and introduces new navigation gestures. Smoother UI animations are also par for the course.
Sprint's Galaxy A50 might follow Verizon's with its own Android 10 release
Verizon is rolling out the update OTA (over-the-air) so you should be able to download it on your Galaxy A50 in the USA by opening Settings, accessing Software update, and tapping Download and install.
The Galaxy A50 was also released in the USA by Sprint, so we're assuming that the carrier will follow in Verizon's footsteps and release its own Android 10 update sooner rather than later. Of course, there's no guarantee for this to happen, but sit tight and we'll keep you posted as soon as we find out more.
