Every day is bringing us a step closer to the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE. Our sources told us earlier this year that Samsung is aiming to bring the Galaxy S21 FE to market sometime in the fourth quarter of this year, and evidence has piled up in these past couple of weeks that our wait for Samsung's next flagship-killer phone may not be a long one.
Retailers and carriers have been preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE. We saw the phone mentioned at some unknown store, and we also managed to get our hands on the phone's user manual and a carrier's (Cricket Wireless) quick start guide recently. Today, we've got the Galaxy S21 FE quick start guide from another carrier: Verizon.
Verizon's all set to sell the Galaxy S21 FE
Compared to the quick start guide for Cricket Wireless, this one only takes you through the very basic process of getting started with what Samsung and Verizon no doubt hope will be your future purchase: You get to learn of what all the buttons and ports do, how you can insert a SIM card into the phone, and the process of logging in to your Verizon account.
As expected, the guide doesn't mention any specs for the phone, but we've already got a good idea about the Galaxy S21 FE's hardware. It should feature a 6.5-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 under the hood (the former for Verizon), a triple-camera setup at the back, IP68 water and dust resistance, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. A microSD slot doesn't seem to be on-board, unfortunately.
