Just a week ago, Samsung released the fourth Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy S22 series. Then, just a few days later, at its developer conference, the company announced that the final release will take place before the end of October, suggesting that we may not see too many more beta updates before the stable update starts rolling out to users.
And that certainly seems to be the case if you take a look at what the fourth Galaxy S22 One UI 5.0 beta update brings to the table, which is something we do in our latest YouTube video. Beta 4 is pretty much all about bug fixes and moving existing things around in the user interface instead of adding new features.
In fact, Samsung has gone ahead and actually removed a feature – the multi-user functionality that was introduced in the first beta release is no longer present. Whether or not more features will be removed going ahead is not something we can say at this time, but it certainly looks like Samsung's right on track for a late October release of the final One UI 5.0 update.
As always, we'll let you know whenever the final update — or perhaps a new beta update — arrives, so stay tuned. And in the meantime, check out our deep dive into the fourth Galaxy S22 One UI 5.0 beta by hitting the play button below.
