The Galaxy S24 lineup has been plagued with some camera issues ever since it was launched. Samsung has launched multiple updates to fix these issues but a few still persist. A new video sent to us by a reader shows that the Galaxy S24 camera issues haven't completely been fixed.

The company has already said that there's going to be a new update in the coming weeks that should hopefully address all of these issues. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but one can certainly hope for the best.

Galaxy S24 still faces some camera issues

Some of these issues were address with the very first Galaxy S24 software update, but it didn't take care of everything. Samsung then launched another update with camera improvements earlier those month. The latest update sorted some issues related to the white balance and exposure. The Galaxy S24 Ultra particularly had a problem with overexposing images, making bright areas and light sources appear blown out.

There are a few areas where more improvements are needed. This includes telephoto camera quality, white balance accuracy, and the occurrence of abnormal red color appearing in some images. A video shared with us on X also shows that perhaps autofocus also requires some work.

We can see the autofocus feature on this Galaxy S24 Ultra struggling to clearly focus on the object when the user is switching to the ultra-wide sensor. This isn't the first time we're seeing something like this on a Samsung device, we've witnessed this issue on older devices as well.

Samsung will hopefully address the issue in the next update that it's preparing for the Galaxy S24 series, though it appears we may have to wait a bit for it. Rumor has it that this update won't arrive until May or June at the latest.
