WhatsApp now has a solution for emoji overload in chats

WhatsApp, the world's biggest instant messaging app, rolls out features extremely slowly. Telegram is almost always faster. Today, WhatsApp has announced that it is rolling out message reactions to its app. It will reduce emoji overload in chat threads.

The message reactions feature lets users respond to messages using emojis, and those emojis are shown just below the message. This removes the need to reply to a particular message with emojis, thereby reducing clutter inside chat threads and group chats.

Users can react to messages using any of the six emojis—Like/Thumbs Up, Red Heart, Laugh, Tears Of Joy, Face With Open Mouth, Crying Face, and Folded Hands—available right now. The Facebook-owned company says that it will bring support for more emojis in the future. WhatsApp has also increased the file size limit from 100MB to 2GB.

Have you received this feature on your Samsung phone yet? Don't forget to update the app to the latest version to see the newly-released features.
