After two years of the original Galaxy Watch not getting a direct sequel, the physical rotating bezel has finally made a return this year with the launch of the Galaxy Watch 3. In case you’re wondering, no, you haven’t been sleeping under a rock for the past couple of years and you haven’t missed out on the Galaxy Watch 2 as it never existed – unless you consider the Galaxy Watch Active series to fill that gap.

Naming conventions aside, the Galaxy Watch 3 is nearly here and prospective buyers can finally make plans for when and for how much money they’ll be able to order one. Here’s all you need to know.

When and for what price will the Galaxy Watch 3 hit the shelves?

The Galaxy Watch 3 will be available in various markets around the world from tomorrow, August 6th. As most of you know by now, the Galaxy Watch 3 comes in two sizes clocking in at 41mm and 45mm, and as expected, the larger model will cost a bit extra.

The 41mm Galaxy Watch 3 has a starting price of €429/$400, whereas the larger 45mm Galaxy Watch 3 will hit the shelves for €459/$430. Customers will have a few color options to choose from, including black, silver, and gold/bronze.

Aside from the refreshed design enriched by the physical rotating bezel, the Galaxy Watch 3 tells a familiar story in regards to internal hardware. It’s powered by the same Exynos 9110 chipset as the Galaxy Active series, it has 1GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage, heart-rate and sleep monitors, and a MIL-STD-810G body with an IP68 rating. It runs Tizen OS 5.5.
