When to expect One UI 5.1 update for your Samsung Galaxy device

Samsung may have officially announced the One UI 5.1 release today (February 15), but the company has already been rolling out this much-awaited update since earlier this week. It has done a great job getting this update out so quickly, even before the One Galaxy S23 series is released on February 17.

A lot of you are looking forward to receiving One UI 5.1 on your device. You're interested to find out when you can expect the update to arrive on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet. This roadmap will help provide you with some clarity.

Samsung One UI 5.1 release roadmap

The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series have already received the update and so have the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Samsung has also released it for the Galaxy S21 FE 5G, the Galaxy S20 series, and the Galaxy S20 FE.

Based on information from Samsung, the following devices will be updated to One UI 5.1 in the third week of February 2023:

  • Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3
  • Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, S8 Ultra
  • Galaxy A73 5G, A53 5G, A33 5G

The last week of February 2023 will see the One UI 5.1 being released for these devices:

  • Galaxy A72, Galaxy A82 5G, Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A52
  • Galaxy Tab S7 FE, Galaxy Tab S7+, Galaxy Tab S7
  • Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip
  • Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

A handful of devices will also receive the update in the first week of March 2023, they include:

  • Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy A71
  • Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A51
  • Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

It's impressive to note that Samsung will take less than a month to release One UI 5.1 to all of these devices. The first update was rolled out on February 13. The company has shown great commitment to delivering a swift update experience to customers. Full marks to Samsung for following through on its customers' expectations.
