After Canary, Dev, and Beta channels, Microsoft has finally started rolling out the 24H2 update to Windows 11 on the Release Preview channel. Here's what it offers and how you can download it.
The 24H2 update brings many new features to Windows 11. These include HDR support for wallpapers, support for Wi-Fi 7, voice clarity, which can reduce the background noise during voice or video calls, scrollable view for quick settings flyout, the ability to compress files to the 7-zip and TAR formats in File Explorer, and improvements to Bluetooth Low Energy Audio.
The Release Preview channel is the final channel to which Microsoft rolls out a new update before making it available to the public. That means the company should start releasing the 24H2 update to the stable channel very soon.
