Samsung beat Apple in the US for the first time in years in terms of smartphone sales. It also managed to recapture the first spot in the Indian smartphone market in Q3 2020. Now, it is being reported that out of the top ten best-selling smartphones globally, five devices were made by Samsung.
According to a new report from market research firm Canalys, the Galaxy A21s was Samsung's best-selling smartphone in the third quarter of this year. It was also the third best-selling mobile phone globally, and the South Korean tech giant managed to sell more than 10 million units of it. The Galaxy A11 (10 million), Galaxy A51 (8 million), Galaxy A31 (5 million), and the Galaxy A01 Core (4 million) were at fourth, fifth, eighth, and tenth positions, respectively.
It is interesting to see that all Samsung smartphones in the list are from the Galaxy A series.
