Samsung has launched an early Black Friday deal for the Galaxy Watch 7. The offer includes a $40 discount on any Galaxy Watch 7 model, regardless of whether or not you use the trade-in program. You can save $40 on the 40mm or 44mm variants with Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + LTE.

You can also combine this $40 offer with a trade-in discount. Trade-in values go as high as $175, which means you could theoretically save $215 and buy the Galaxy Watch 7 for as low as $85 for the 40mm or $115 for the 44mm variant.

If you are in the market for a new smartwatch and you're wondering whether you should buy the Galaxy Watch 7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra, know that the differences between the two are mostly aesthetic.

In terms of sensor and biometric tracking capabilities, they're virtually the same. They use the same new BioActive sensor. However, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is a bit more rugged and offers better water resistance at greater depths.

You might want to pick the Ultra if you want to go diving or like the look better, otherwise, the Galaxy Watch 7 is just as solid. The Ultra is also pricier and not available at a discount as of this writing.

Check out our video for a closer look at how the two watches compare, and hit the buy button below if you decide to check out Samsung's early Black Friday Galaxy Watch 7 offer.
