Samsung has been going slow with its MicroLED TV launches. The company was expected to launch 76-inch and 88-inch versions of The Wall MicroLED TV by the end of this year. However, the launch has been delayed, and it is being rumored that the company is facing yield issues.

Now, a new report coming out of South Korea claims that Samsung will manufacture 200 units of 110-inch MicroLED TVs in January 2022. This number is unusually high for one month as the company usually manufactures only a dozen such TVs every month. The South Korean firm has only managed to sell a few hundred units of MicroLED TVs in 2021.

It is expected that Samsung will showcase its 99-inch MicroLED TV at CES 2022, and gauging customer response, the company could ramp up the production. By the end of 2022, the company could also launch the 88-inch version of its MicroLED TV. While the 99-inch MicroLED TV from Samsung uses a PCB (Printer Circuit Board), similar to the 110-inch version, smaller versions could use a matrix of 12.7-inch LTPS TFT glass substrates for higher yields.

Samsung's 2022 TV lineup will also include 8K MiniLED TVs, 4K MiniLED TVs, and 4K OLED TVs. The South Korean firm's 8K MiniLED TVs (branded as Neo QLED) will be the highest-end models.
