Introduction

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE is Samsung's upcoming mid-range tablet. It succeeds the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and reportedly brings improved performance, a better rear camera, faster wireless connectivity, and newer software. The tablet could be launched in this year's first half and offer longer software update support than its predecessor.

Design

Samsung will likely not change the build or design of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE from the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, at least based on the tablet's leaked images. It will reportedly have an aluminum unibody frame with flat sides and rounded corners.

It could also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It will come with a bundled S Pen that is also IP68-rated. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

Display

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE has a 10.9-inch screen (most likely IPS LCD) with a resolution of 2,304 x 1,440 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to feature up to 800 nits peak brightness, which is higher than the display brightness of its predecessor. It has stereo speakers but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Camera

The device has a 12MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear-facing camera with autofocus. It can record 4K 30fps videos using both those cameras. The rear-facing camera is an upgrade over the Galaxy Tab S9 FE's 8MP rear camera.

Specifications

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Tab S10 FE with a faster processor: Exynos 1580. It has an 18% faster CPU, 17% faster GPU, and a 12% faster NPU than the Exynos 1480 chip used in the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. The chipset is paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.

The tablet has a microSD card slot for storage space expansion. It also features GPS, 5G (cellular model only), Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. The device is powered by an 8,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

Software

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE runs Android 15-based One UI 7.0 out of the box. It will likely come with a promise of six major Android OS updates and security patches for up to six years. It could also get some Galaxy AI features, including Google's Circle to Search and Samsung's Best Face.

Price and availability

The tablet could launch in the first half of 2025 with a starting price of €579 for the 128GB model. The variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is said to cost $779.

Since the Galaxy Tab S10 FE hasn't been announced yet, most of its launch and pricing information is based on reports and rumors.
