The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE may share many design characteristics with the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Rumors say the Fan Edition foldable could reuse the Armor Aluminum frame, hinge, and Gorilla Glass Victus elements from the Z Flip 6.
If true, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE would look virtually the same as the ongoing flagship model. The same IP rating for dust and water resistance, stereo speaker grille and microphone cutouts, and dimensions.
As for its display, the Galaxy Flip FE may once again reuse the Galaxy Z Flip 6 panel, except it might not be as bright. However, it could employ the same Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) treatment.
Specifications
There have been several rumors about the possible choice of chipset for a cheaper Galaxy Z Flip model. One claims that it might rock the Exynos 2400. Another says that Samsung could use the Exynos 2500.
More recently, however, rumors indicate that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could employ the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, similar to the Galaxy S25 series.
In terms of other hardware specs, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might benefit from a 50MP primary camera, a 10MP selfie shooter, Wi-Fi 6E, and 25W fast charging. And like the Z Flip 6, the Fan Edition model is unlikely to offer expandable storage or a 3.5mm audio port.

It's safe to assume that if the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is in the works for a 2025 release, it will run Android 15 and One UI 7.
Galaxy AI features are just as likely to be included in the Fan Edition package, considering that even the Galaxy S24 FE is packed with at least some AI features.
And given that Samsung now offers Android firmware support for six years for cheaper Galaxy A phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE should benefit from at least six big OS upgrades throughout its lifetime.
Availability and price
Pricing details for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are unknown, but if it is a Fan Edition phone, it will cost less than the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which debuted for $1,099.
As for availability, the latest reports suggest that Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE a few months after the debut of the standard Z Flip 7, which will likely be announced this summer.
On a final note, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE may see a relatively widespread release, including markets like India and UAE.
