The Samsung S95D is Samsung's flagship OLED TV for 2024. It was launched in early 2024 alongside the S85D and the S90D. It succeeded the S95C, which was launched in 2023, and brought a major upgrade in the form of its OLED Glare Free panel that reduces glare and reflections from light sources nearby.

The S95D uses a 4K QD-OLED panel with HDR10, HDR10+ (ADAPTIVE & GAMING), and HLG. This panel supports a 144Hz variable refresh rate for a tear-free gaming experience. The TV's screen has a first-of-its-kind Glare Free coating that reduces glare and reflections from nearby light sources, such as doors, lights, and windows.
When connected to gaming consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the TV supports a 48-120Hz variable refresh rate. When connected to a PC, it supports a 48-144Hz variable refresh rate. Other gaming features include Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM), AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Game Bar, Mini Map Zoom, Samsung Gaming Hub, and Super Ultrawide GameView.
The Samsung S95D has a 4.2.2-channel 70W speaker system with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus support. The TV also supports the following audio enhancement features:
- Active Voice Amplifier: Uses AI to amplify vocals in the audio to make dialogs sound clearer in movies, music, and videos.
- Adaptive Sound Pro: Optimizes sound by considering the room's acoustics and the audio content. It uses AI to improve voice clarity while still keeping things a bit balanced.
- Object Tracking Sound+: It uses AI to track the movement of objects/subjects on the screen and simulates their audio in such a way that it appears the audio is coming from the part of the screen where the object is currently visible.
- Q-Symphony: When paired with a Samsung soundbar, this system distributes audio through speakers of the TV and the soundbar simultaneously. For example, some of the TV's speakers are used center channel speakers. The creates a more impactful audio experience.
The TV has found HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), three USB 2.0 Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, an Ethernet port, an optical digital audio output port, and an RF port. Wireless connectivity features of the S95D include Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 5.
Two people can listen to the TV's audio simultaneously using Bluetooth earphones. When connected to compatible Galaxy Buds, the TV offers 360 Audio.
For mirroring your laptop's or phone's screen wirelessly on your S95D TV, you can use AirPlay 2, Miracast, or Smart View. It also supports Multi View while screen mirroring, which one half of the screen displays what was currently played on the TV and other half shows your laptop's or phone's screen contents.
The S95D runs Tizen OS 7.0, so it can run all your favorite music and video streaming apps. It also features SmartThings Hub built-in, which means it can act as a hub to control all your compatible smart home devices. It also features the SmartThings app, so you can control smart home devices directly using the TV's app. You can stream free videos using Samsung TV Plus.
